The Department of the Navy (DoN) intends to negotiate a one-time sole source contract with US Bioservices, 3200 Internet Blvd, Frisco, TX, 75034. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-2. This notice will be distributed through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website. (www.fbo.gov) Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 339113; the size standard is 500 employees. The Department of the Navy (DoN) intends to award a non-competitive, sole source contract to US Bioservices, 3200 Internet Blvd, Frisco, TX, 75034, for the purchase Autologous Cultured Chondrocytes that meets DON's requirements. Based on market research conducted and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals within the government it has been determined DON's requirement can only be provided by US Bioservices, as they are the sole manufacturing authority and hold all data, machinery and processes for production of Autologous Cultured Chondrocytes . Sole-Source Justification will be posted upon award. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to this office by 5:00 pm, EST, May 12, 2016, by email to the attention of Sherri Roche, Contract Specialist, at contact@example.gov.
