The Defense Threat Reduction Agency plans to award a sole-source contract to Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, INC for the continued maintenance, sustainment, and integration of its Department of War TAK ecosystem software. This effort ensures seamless compatibility between ongoing updates from Draper, the original equipment manufacturer, and the agency’s operational systems. The work involves specialized software testing, analysis, and engineering that only Draper can provide without risking mission effectiveness, justifying the non-competitive approach under FAR 6.103-1(c)(2) and Class Deviation 2026-O0017. A prior Request for Information confirmed the lack of alternative sources capable of meeting these highly technical requirements. The contract, identified by solicitation number HDTRA126R0060, falls under NAICS code 541511 for custom computer programming services and PSC code DA01 for IT and telecom application support. Performance will span a 10-month base period followed by four optional 12-month extensions, supporting continued mission readiness. The contract is managed by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency based in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, with Cornelia Ruffin serving as the primary point of contact. While this notice is not a solicitation for bids, interested parties may respond by the deadline of August 18, 2026, though no competition is anticipated given the unique technical expertise required.

Oncology Information System (OIS) Interface ConfigurationThe contract requires the establishment and rigorous testing of a bidirectional integration between a quality management system and Oncology Information System platforms such as ARIA or MOSAIQ, leveraging DICOM RT and HL7 communication protocols to ensure seamless, accurate, and secure data exchange. This integration must support real-time synchronization of clinical, treatment, and quality metrics between systems to enhance workflow efficiency, reduce manual entry errors, and maintain compliance with oncology care standards. Testing will validate end-to-end functionality under operational conditions, ensuring system reliability and data integrity across all interface points. The work is scoped as a subcontract under the 255-NETWORK Contract Office 15, administered by the Department of Veterans Affairs, with performance centered in Kansas City, Missouri, at ZIP code 64128. Notice of Intent to Sole Source - RAWS Portable Weather Station Upgrades for Hoosier National Forest
Solicitation # 1175661
The United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service, Hoosier National Forest, plans to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price purchase order valued at $16,900 to FTS (Forest Technology Systems), an AEM subsidiary in Langford, BC, for critical upgrades to two active Remote Automatic Weather Stations used in fire management operations. The upgrade involves replacing degraded components on the IIC NORTH PORTABLE and IIC SOUTH PORTABLE stations with proprietary Quick Deploy (QD2) structural enclosures, tripod legs, 20W solar panels, mounting brackets, and SDI-WS-RMY-QD wind sensors to prevent water damage and ensure reliable data transmission essential for fire modeling and response decisions. The procurement is justified under sole-source authority because FTS is the exclusive designer and manufacturer of the QD2 ecosystem components, and no alternative suppliers provide technically or physically compatible parts for the existing FTS F6 Data Collection Platform and G6 QD transmitter infrastructure. Introducing third-party equipment would risk physical incompatibility, compromised data integrity, failure to protect sensitive electronics, and voiding of the current approved system configuration. Although this is not a competitive solicitation, interested parties may submit a capability statement within fifteen days of the notice date demonstrating exact technical compatibility with the FTS F6/G6 architecture, including company details, UEI number, business size, and verifiable proof of system interoperability, to be evaluated at the government’s discretion.
