Procurement of 1 InBody 770 Body Composition Analyzer


Notice of Intent to Sole-source: The 341st Contracting Squadron intends to award on a sole-source basis a contract to BioSpace, Inc. to support Malmstrom Air Force Base’s (MAFB) InBody 770 Body Composition Analyzer requirement.


This action will be executed under the authority mandated by Department of the Air Force Manual DAFMAN 36-2905 (dated 24 March 2026), paragraph 2.19.3. The manual contains a strict, non-discretionary equipment mandate, it stated- “DAFMAN 36-2905 (24 March 2026), para 2.19.3: Ensures adequate facilities and other resources are available to support physical fitness operations at home station and at deployed locations. Note: FSS FACs must acquire appropriate equipment (e.g. AED, InBody model 770) to conduct Physical Fitness Readiness Assessments (PFRAs).”
