The Air Force District Washington Contracting Directorate plans to award a firm fixed price task order to Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services for maintenance and support of the Department of Defense Aeronautical Information Portal Notice to Airmen System. This procurement will be executed through a limited-source process due to the unique and specialized nature of the services provided by HPES, whose facility is approved by the Defense Information Security Agency, a requirement for handling the sensitive information involved. The DAIP NOTAM system serves as the sole official source for real-time aeronautical information vital to all military branches, delivering critical data to pilots, aircrews, base operations, and personnel worldwide, and interfaces with the FAA-managed US NOTAM System. The contract is identified under NAICS code 541511 and originated from the Department of Defense office at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland. While this notice is not a solicitation for competitive quotes, the government invites interested parties to express their capability and interest by a specific deadline, with the understanding that any decision not to pursue competition remains at the government’s discretion. Responses will help determine whether a competitive procurement might follow, but preparation costs will not be reimbursed. Points of contact are provided for submission and inquiries.
