Full Description

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a fixed-price purchase order on a single source basis to Insightia Activist Insight for access to the Activist Shorts Database. The Contracting Officer has reviewed the requirement and determined that Insightia Activist Insight is the only source that can reasonably meet the SEC's requirement in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b) because the proprietary database is dedicated to tracking activist short-seller campaigns and there have been no other sources identified that can meet the SEC's requirement. The SEC intends to award a purchase order to Insightia Activist Insight on or about September 10, 2021. The total award value of the purchase order will be below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. The anticipated period of performance is 24 months. This notice is not a competitive request for proposals. A competitive solicitation will not be issued. However, the government will give consideration to interested parties that identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals by the response date of this notice.
