Solicitation # N0038327RNA09
This solicitation, issued by the Navsup Weapon Systems Support, requires a contractor to provide all necessary facilities, labor, materials, and tooling to overhaul, upgrade, repair, test, and inspect the Housing Valve, Elec (NSN 1610-016082920, P/N 1007720-2). The primary objective is to return these units to a Ready For Issue condition, ensuring they perform reliably in an operational environment. The contractor is responsible for all manufacturing aids and test equipment, as government-furnished property is not provided. Key administrative requirements include the use of the Wide Area WorkFlow system for electronic invoicing and payment. Quality standards are stringent, requiring compliance with ISO 9001/SAE AS9100 and the maintenance of a calibration system meeting ANSI/NCSL Z540.3 or ISO-10012-1. The contract establishes specific protocols for Beyond Economical Repair determinations, which occur when costs exceed 75 percent of the replacement price, and Missing on Induction procedures for assemblies missing shop replaceable assemblies. While the contractor is granted Internal Review Board authority for minor non-conformances, the government retains formal Material Review Board authority for as-is dispositions. Inspection and acceptance will take place at the origin.
