Solicitation # N0038327RNA09
This solicitation, issued by the Navsup Weapon Systems Support, requires a contractor to provide all necessary facilities, labor, materials, and tooling to overhaul, upgrade, repair, test, and inspect the Housing Valve, Elec (NSN 1610-016082920, P/N 1007720-2). Quality standards are stringent, requiring compliance with ISO 9001/SAE AS9100 and the maintenance of a calibration system meeting ANSI/NCSL Z540.3 or ISO-10012-1. The contract establishes specific protocols for Beyond Economical Repair determinations, which occur when costs exceed 75 percent of the replacement price, and Missing on Induction procedures for assemblies missing shop replaceable assemblies. The government intends to make a single award based on the most advantageous offer, with past performance weighted as more important than price. Delivery is specified as FOB Origin, and packaging must comply with MIL-STD-2073 and MIL-STD-129 standards. Invoicing and receiving reports must be processed electronically through the Wide Area Workflow system.
