Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to determine if other companies are capable of manufacturing (or legitimately obtaining) the following item: NSN 1630-00-186-8698, BRAKE PLATE ASSY. This item is currently manufactured by LOCKHEED MARTIN CORPORATION (CAGE 25500), GOODYEAR AND RUBBER CO (CAGE 73842), AND MEGGITT AIRCRAFT BRAKING SYSTEMS (CAGE 0B9R9) UNDER PART NUMBER 9535954. The Weapon System Designator Code is 45N.


This Sources Sought Notice is for informational purposes only. This is not a request for an offer. This does not constitute as a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement.
