DLA Aviation is soliciting an Indefinite Quantity Contract for the procurement of metal flexible conduit assemblies under NSNs 5975-01-512-7844, 5975-01-512-7859, and 5975-01-513-5405. This non-commercial stock buy acquisition is structured as a long-term strategic contract consisting of a base year with four optional extension years. Deliveries are required for DLA stock locations on the east and west coasts, with specific delivery timelines of 79, 30, and 66 days after receipt of order for the respective items. The contract terms are established as FOB Origin with inspection and acceptance occurring at the destination, and the First Destination Transportation Program applies. While initially described as unrestricted, subsequent documentation indicates a sole-source justification restricting the procurement to Safran Elec Components Inc due to the unavailability of technical data and a lack of responses to a previous sources sought notice. The award decision is based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors. The solicitation, identified by number SPE4A621R0394 and NAICS code 335999, was managed by the Department of Defense office located in Richmond, Virginia.
