The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with BlueFors Oy. The requirement is for the purchase of the following: ITEM 0001: RF Installation Set Supplier: BlueFors Oy QTY: 1 Each ITEM 0002: DC Installation Sets Supplier: BlueFors Oy QTY: 3 Each ITEM 0003: ISO100 to KF40 Flange Adapter Supplier: BlueFors Oy QTY: 1 Each ITEM 0004: Twisted Pair DC Lines Supplier: BlueFors Oy QTY: 2 Each ITEM 0005: 0.86mm Semi-Rigid Coaxial Lines Supplier: BlueFors Oy QTY: 4 Each ITEM 0006: 2.19mm Semi-Rigid Coaxial Lines Supplier: BlueFors Oy QTY: 4 Each This is a purchase request to procure installation sets that will be used to install RF and DC cables for the BlueFors dilution refrigerator at Battery Ashburn. These cables are necessary to perform cryogenic experiments on the dilution refrigerator. A dilution refrigerator is a piece of equipment that provides temperatures on the order of -460.F. Achieving this temperature requires a high degree of components matching. Substitution of third party parts would present an unacceptable degree of risk of damage to the system and impede Navy mission requirements. This notice of intent is NOT a request for quote. A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government.
