The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) plans to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price delivery order to The Boeing Company for the procurement of NVIDIA Graphics Processors. These processors will support the F/A-18 E/F and EA-18G aircraft programs. The work is expected to be completed within 90 days from the contract award date. This acquisition is conducted under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-26-G-1002 and is justified as a sole source procurement due to Boeing's exclusive role as the designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the F/A-18 aircraft, making them uniquely qualified to meet the program’s technical requirements. The contract will not use the provisions of FAR Part 12, and the purchase is being made under the authority allowing sole source acquisition when only one responsible source can fulfill the government’s needs. While this announcement is intended for informational purposes only and does not invite competing bids, interested companies may explore subcontracting opportunities directly with Boeing. The solicitation falls under NAICS code 336413, and the performance location is Saint Louis, Missouri, with the Naval Air Systems Command office located in Patuxent River, Maryland, serving as the contracting agency.
