The project involves constructing approximately 3,700 linear feet of new force main to connect the Rock Harbor lift station with the existing Four Points #2 force main, which will be repurposed to enable Rock Harbor to bypass the Four Points #2 lift station. This rerouting will increase the capacity of the force main serving Rock Harbor, allowing for improved flow management. Additionally, the flow from the Four Points #1 lift station will be rerouted to discharge at the Rock Harbor lift station via the existing force main, effectively bypassing the Four Points #2 lift station. As part of the scope, the Four Points #2 lift station and a segment of its force main will be abandoned once the new infrastructure is operational. The project, managed by the City of Austin, Texas, is valued between 1.5 million and 3 million dollars and is designated under NAICS code 541330. It aims to enhance wastewater conveyance efficiency and system capacity. The solicitation was posted on September 16, 2024, with a response deadline of October 17, 2024. The primary point of contact for inquiries is Ivan Quinones, reachable via email at [email hidden] or by phone at 512-974-72070.
