Full Description
The Project consists of the construction of 30-inch diameter gravity sewer pipe. Additional work associated with the installation of the sewer includes but is not limited to temporary bypassing, trench excavation and backfill, construction and installation of precast concrete manholes, erosion and sedimentation control, post construction acceptance video, clearing, grubbing, and restoration of wooded areas, fields, and roads. Approximate lengths for each Phase are as follows:
a. Phase 1: 3,600 linear feet b. Phase 2: 3,450 linear feet c. Phase 2A: 2,100 linear feet

Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid Bond in an amount not less than 10 percent of the Bid total, payable to the Owner in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961, P.L. 987, No. 442). Bidders are subject to all applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania wage laws, and bids shall be prepared accordingly. The applicable wage predetermination is included in the Project Manual.
All contractors on this Project are required to ensure that employees and applicants will not be discriminated against because of race, creed, color, religion, sex, age, handicap, marital status or national origins; and, that the statutes and regulations of federal and state law regarding non-discrimination are met.
The Commonwealth Financing Authority, under the PA Small Water and Sewer Grant Program is providing a portion of the funding for this Project.
Contractors and subcontractors are required to furnish records to ascertain compliance with the Nondiscrimination Clause.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at 1:00 p.m., prevailing time, on June 8, 2026. The pre-bid meeting will be conducted in-person and virtually via Microsoft Teams. Attendance in-person is highly recommended. There will be an opportunity to view the site after the meeting.
