PURPOSE: The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation to renovate of the Office of Counsel, Nashville District, Nashville, TN. This is a Pre-solicitation Notice. This Notice is being issued for planning and informational purposes only. This notice is not a solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice, nor will the Government accept quotes as a result of this Notice. The specifications and drawings for this requirement will only be available upon solicitation issuance. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: USACE anticipates a requirement for a firm fixed-price construction purchase order to accomplish the following work: Removal and replacement of carpet and cove base within the Office of Counsel which consists of approximately 2080 sq. ft. Additional work includes the painting all walls within the Office of Counsel, approximately 5,260 sq. ft., including all private offices, door jams, and the conference rooms. *This description is not intended to be all encompassing and is subject to change. NAICS CODE AND SBA SIZE STANDARD: The NAICS code for this project is 238990 with a size standard of $15,000,000. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: The solicitation will be advertised as a total small business set aside. CONTRACT TYPE: The Government intends to award one (1) firm fixed-price construction purchase order. DISCLOSURE OF MAGNITUDE OF THE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT: The disclosure of magnitude range is between $25,000 and $100,000. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The anticipated period of performance is 35 calendar days. SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: The anticipated release date for this solicitation is June 25, 2018. The specifications and drawings will be available at the time of solicitation release. SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Offerors must be successfully registered in the SAM, www.sam.gov, in order to receive a Government contract award. Offerors must have their representations and certifications available on-line in SAM or provide them with their bid in order to receive a Government contract award.
