The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Seeks Expressions of Interest for


Office space in the Milwaukee, WI area.


The purpose of this request for information is to acquire short term rental space for office space to accommodate USDA, Forest Service (FS) personnel. USDA is gauging the market availability of this requirement in Milwaukee or surrounding areas. USDA is interested in reviewing properties that meet the requirements listed below. Interested offers should clearly indicate if all requirements can be met. If they cannot, interested offeror should specifically identify the areas not included within the property.


USDA anticipates acquiring the new office space by 04/01/2026, or within the following months. This new/replacing requirement should include approximately 30,000 square feet total to accommodate:


    • 81 Cubicles, each 48 square feet maximum size
    • 18 Private Offices, each 120 square feet maximum size and at least 3 with locking solid wood core doors
    • Conference rooms: One large (approximately 20 people) and two small (approximately 10 people)
    • Break area with sink with space for fridges & countertop appliances
    • Mail/Copy/ Supply Room(s)
    • Storage Space:
      • Approximately 5,000 sq. ft., of which:
        • 100 sq ft storage space for Li-ion batteries
        • 350 sq ft storage space with secured (keyed entry minimum requirement) with direct access from interior and exterior of the building
    • Parking:
      • Secure parking for 6 vehicles
    • Server/IT Room, with internet & power wiring to desks and video conferencing/digital technologies capable
    • Private conference spaces (i.e. telephone booths) (optional)
    • Shower facilities (optional)

Submitted properties are preferred to be located within the delineated area description, described below. If no available options are within the delineated area, USDA will review properties within Waukesha and Milwaukee County if the proposed building better meets the agency need and results in possible cost savings.


Interested offers must submit the address, property description, available square footage, available parking, and photographs. Lessor must be registered in SAM.gov to be considered in follow on solicitation.
