The County of Lambton, the Township of Warwick, the Village of Point Edward and the Town of Plympton-Wyoming are requesting proposals from qualified firms to complete official plan reviews for the Township of Warwick, the Village of Point Edward and the Town of Plympton-Wyoming. Each of the three official plan reviews is required to be conducted separately and under the direction of the respective local municipality. A steering committee is expected to be formed for each local official plan review.The official plan reviews must ensure that the policies in each plan are in compliance with the Planning Act, consistent with the Provincial Policy Statement and in conformity with the County of Lambton Official Plan. The successful proponent will be required to complete the necessary background research and undertake a comprehensive public consultation program in order to review settlement area boundaries, land use policies anddesignations of each local official plan, as appropriate. All GIS/mapping work associated with the official plan reviews will be completed by the County's Planning and Development Services Department under the direction of the consultants.
