ODH is the lead state agency for radiological emergency response and must be prepared for any potential incidents.  The electronic radiation dosimeters will be worn by ODH staff while responding to radiological emergencies. As the lead state agency for radiological emergency response, ODH will also provide electronic dosimeters to other emergency response staff, i.e., other non-ODH state emergency workers, fire and HazMat Terms, and Law Enforcement. This request is for 112 EA / AccuRad PRD Electronic Dosimeters (see specs in attached doccument). Electronic dosimeters have a digital readout that lets the wearer know in “real-time” the amount of radiation dose they have received.  These devices also have alarm set points that can be used to signal when the wearer has reached an administrative stop work point or a total cumulative radiation dose limit.
