Oil Water Separator (OWS) Grand Forks AFB, ND

The contractor is tasked with inspecting, testing, cleaning, repairing, and maintaining oil/water separator systems, grit chambers, grease traps, and collecting and disposing of used vegetable cooking oil at Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota. Additionally, during the growing season from June through September, the contractor must mow, till, monitor, and sample the Land Treatment Facility. All work must comply with federal, state, and local environmental regulations, including standards from the EPA, North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality, and American Petroleum Institute, with sampling procedures required to follow ASTM D 5384-95 and EPA SW-846 methods. Samples must be properly labeled with device number, collection date and time, and identification number, accompanied by completed Chain of Custody forms and QA/QC trip blanks, and analyzed by an NDDEQ-certified laboratory. Inspection reports and analytical results must be submitted to the Contracting Officer’s Representative within specified timelines—results within 30 days of sampling and inspection reports within 14 days of completion. The contractor must also submit pre-award documentation including a certified testing laboratory approval, EPA registration, waste disposal permits, DOT licensing, personnel qualifications, site safety plans, and proof of insurance.
