The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means to conduct market research. This is to identify interested parties for the requirement to supply a Manufacturer Trained Certified Technician to repair two OKUMA Vertical Machining Centers, two OKUMA Thread Rollers, and five OKUMA Turning Centers, to a fully operational condition. The Contractor shall provide annual preventive maintenance, repair, calibration, and remedial service, to include an inspection report of work performed. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611 Small Business Size 1,250: The Product Service code is J049 - Maintenance, Repair, & Overhaul- Shop Equipment. The request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this notice is purely voluntary.
