Abington Township will receive sealed bids for the Abington Township Old York Road Signal Communication Upgrades Project. The scope of work generally includes signal communication upgrades. Bids will be submitted on https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/ and will remain open until July 9, 2024 at 9:00 AM. Bids will be opened, and summary of the results will be made public after Bids are due. Bids will have a tentative award date of August 8, 2024. Faxed bids will not be accepted. This project is subject to the Abington Township Responsible Contractor Ordinance, Ord. No. 2193. RCO qualification documentation is due by Monday, June 24, 2024. Please submit RCO Certification Form to the Township to the attention of Ashley McIlvaine, Assistant Manager, via E-Mail to contact@example.gov. Please DO NOT submit Certification Form through PennBid. Additional information can be found in the Instructions to Bidders, Article 3 . Qualification of Bidders. The work indicated will be at a minimum, partially funded via Traffic Signal Technologies (TST) grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Transportation (PennDOT). There is a zero percent verify requirement for DBE participation.
