ON CALL FACILITY MAINTNANCE SERVICES

Española Public Schools is soliciting proposals under RFP 2027-06 for a non-exclusive, on-call agreement to provide facility maintenance services across various district-owned and operated facilities in New Mexico. The selected contractor will provide skilled and general maintenance personnel, including carpenters, painters, HVAC technicians, and licensed electricians and plumbers, as well as all necessary supervision, tools, and equipment on an as-needed basis. Key services include general and preventative building maintenance, drywall repairs, door and hardware work, and minor plumbing and electrical tasks. The district expects access to approximately 10 to 15 maintenance personnel, though no minimum number of hours or expenditures is guaranteed. Proposals are due by November 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM MST and must be submitted electronically via the designated procurement platform. Evaluation is based on a 100-point scale, with 25 points allocated to the cost proposal and 20 points to company experience and past performance. Award will be granted to the responsible offeror deemed most advantageous to the district. Requirements for submission include a detailed technical proposal, a cost proposal with labor rate schedules, and various certifications, including conflict of interest, debarment, and campaign contribution disclosures. The contractor must comply with New Mexico public works prevailing wage obligations, building codes, and district safety and background-check policies.
