NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION The Department of the Treasury, Departmental Offices (Markets Room) has a need for a vendor to provide online access to information that specializes in macro-economic policy research providing investment and sector strategies that focuses on global equity and debt markets. This information will be accessed via online and will be available 24 hours a day; 7 days a week from September 2, 2016 to September 1, 2016 with an option year, that if exercised, from September 2, 2017 to September 1, 2018. Technical data will not be furnished as part of the solicitation. The Contracting Officer for this requirement will be Mark Green, 703-336-4052, Mark.Green2@irs.gov. The Contract Specialist for this requirement will be Michael Momb, 240-613-5100, Michael.j.Momb@irs.gov. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Requests for a copy of the solicitation must be made no later than 5:30PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Tuesday August 30, 2016 to Michael Momb via email at Michael.j.momb@irs.gov. As a result of the Market Research conducted, the government intends to sole source this requirement to Strategas Research Partners, LLC under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
