The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS) at MacDill AFB intends to issue a sole source Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to K & R Custom Software Inc, 739 Thimble Shoals Blvd Suite 302, Newport News, VA 23606 to provide maintenance support/renew annual Vertical & Horizontal (V&H) Database subscription for MacDill AFB Telecommunications Management System (TMS) using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 13.106-1(b). Using this vendor is critical to the proper integration of the existing equipment and award to any other source would result in substantial duplications of costs to the Government. The North American Industry Classification System is 541511 and the size standard is $23 Million. Revised Numbered Notes 22: "This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and the Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in proposal preparation. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The 6th Contracting Squadron will consider all proposals received by 12:00pm EST (Eastern Standard Time) 29 April 2008.
