Operation of the Hartford/New Haven Job Corps Center with Outreach and Admissions (OA), and Center Transition Services (CTS). The Hartford Job Corps Center is located in 100 William Shorty Campbell Street, Hartford CT 06106; the New Haven Job Corps Center is located in 455 Wintergreen Avenue, New Haven, CT 06515. The planned measure of student utilization for the center or center Onboard Strength (OBS) for the Hartford Job Corps Center is 181, consisting of 116 residential and 65 non-residential students. The OBS for the New Haven Job Corps Center is 157, consisting of 132 residential and 25 non-residential students. The Hartford Job Corps Center is located on 22 acres of land. The Hartford Center, which was activated for Job Corps utilization in 2005, has 83,595 gross square feet (GSF) in nine buildings and 1,312 GSF in five structures. The Hartford Center is constructed on land leased by the United States Department of Labor (DOL) from the City of Hartford, Connecticut. The New Haven Job Corps Center, which was activated for Job Corps utilization in 1995, is located on 16 acres, on two adjacent sites separated by Brookside Avenue. One site has seven buildings, the other has four buildings. It is federally owned, purchased from the State of Connecticut in 1994. It has 100,746 GSF in eleven buildings, and 4,487 GSF in 18 structures. The contractor shall provide OA services in all of the workforce development areas in the state of Connecticut; and shall ensure the annual arrival of a minimum of 300 students to the Hartford Job Corps Center; 320 students to the New Haven Job Corps Center: and 110 students to the Exeter Job Corps Center in Rhode Island. The contractor shall also provide Career Transition Services (CTS) for all graduates and former enrollees of the Hartford/New Haven Job Corps Center, regardless of where the graduate or former enrollee resides or matriculates, and former enrollees within their eligibility period that separated under the prior operator.
