Description: The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to release a Request for Quote (RFQ) to Northrup Grumman in Melbourne, FL on a sole source basis for a quantity three Depot Level OTPSs to test E-2D Avionics units. The units consist of: Four (4) Intercommunications Crew Stations (1 WRA & 3 SRAs), eight communication units (2 WRAs & 6 SRAs), and one Generator Control Unit (1 WRA) for the E-2D Program. The Government intends to procure the above under the authority of 10 USC 3204 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own the data rights. A competitive drawing package for this effort is not available. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
