This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and copy of the SF 1449 is attached. Solicitation number W50S6Y26RA009 is issued as a RFP.
This acquisition is set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.
OHWS – Optimizing the Human Weapon Services, as defined in this PWS. The contractor shall provide and perform injury prevention and mitigation, pre-habilitation services, and human performance optimization services to rated personnel assigned to the applicable fighter aircraft units. The Contractor shall furnish consultation and reports, similar to the range of services found in a commercial facility, as well as services specialized to meet the needs of fighter aircrew. Services provided by the contractor shall include the following: initial assessment of each aircrew, care for personnel who individually seek the services of OHWS Specialist; subject matter expertise concerning pre-habilitation evaluation/assessment, injury prevention, accommodation processes and implementation, ergonomic assessment and implementation, remedial training, and optimized performance physical training (e.g. strength and conditioning for fighter aircrew). At the discretion of the government, the contractor shall provide the following resources under this contract: licensed Physical Therapist and/or licensed Athletic Trainer and/or licensed Strength and Conditioning coach and/or licensed Massage Therapist.
