Stony Brook University has secured a single-source exemption approved by the Office of the State Comptroller to extend Deloitte’s scope under Contract C003611, which was initially awarded through a competitive RFP process. Deloitte, as the chosen implementation partner for Oracle Cloud solutions, is currently supporting the deployment of Human Capital Management (HCM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) modules. The exemption permits Deloitte to expand its role to include the full implementation of Time & Labor and Absence Management modules, as well as strategic development of Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence beyond the original scope. Additionally, Deloitte will ensure system security and continuity through the System Security Plan, minimizing project risks. This action aligns with New York State procurement regulations, emphasizing transparency and compliance, and is necessary due to the urgent project timelines and the strategic importance of maintaining technical alignment. The contract, effective from September 1, 2023, through August 31, 2026, covers all New York State counties and is valued between five and fifteen million dollars. The project aims to support Stony Brook University’s enterprise system modernization efforts, with a focus on expanding Oracle Cloud functionalities. The procurement process and exemption details are publicly accessible, with a designated contact person for inquiries. Stony Brook University (SBU) has received approval from the Office of the State Comptroller (OSC) for a single-source exemption to expand Deloitte’s scope under Contract C003611. Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) – strategic build-out beyond original RFP scope. System Security Plan (SSP) – ensuring continuity and minimizing project risk.
