Amendment A0002: The closing date for this solicitation has been updated to September 25, 2026 at 4:00PM EST.


This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.201 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.  This announcement constitutes as the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.  Solicitation number 70Z03826QL0000083 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).  This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect as of November 28, 2025, IAW the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO).



The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 336413. The small business size standard is 1,250 employees.



The award will be in accordance with FAR 6.104-1. It is anticipated that an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract consisting of a one-year base period and four one-year option periods shall be awarded as a result of this synopsis solicitation.  The total duration of this contract shall not exceed five (5) years. Offeror’s must submit prices for each of the 5 one-year option periods in order to be considered for award.  The Coast Guard does not own nor can it provide specifications, plans, drawings or other technical data.  The USCG intends to award to Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems (0B9R9), 1204 Massillon Rd., Akron, OH, 44306, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the services being procured. These services are in support of the HC-144 and HC-27J aircraft.  ALL QUANTITIES ARE ESTIMATES. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency.
