NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE BRIDGE CONTRACT


THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE BRIDGE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The Department of Commerce (DOC), NOAA Acquisition and Grants Office (AGO) Eastern Acquisition Division , on behalf of the Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) Aircraft Operations Center (AOC),  intends to award a firm fixed price sole source bridge contract for 12-months under the authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and permitted under FAR 6.103-2, Unusual and compelling urgency. Contracting Officers may solicit from only one source if the circumstances deem only one source is reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization).
