Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) awarded a Fixed Price Incentive Fee (FPIF) action definitizing a previously awarded Undefinitized Contract Action (UCA) and adding four (4) additional FMS Lot 13 P-8A aircraft. This acquisition was conducted on a sole-source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.”  A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government.  This effort is covered under the Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) number 21-0136, 02 March 2021 (attached) and International Agreements for the participating FMS customers.
