Amendment 2 is issued to schedule site visit, tentatively scheduled weather permitting, for March 31, 2026, at 6:30am. Please see site visit details attachment 9. This site visit involves a 10-mile hike with 2,743 ft elevation gain. The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for services required to demolish the recreation building from the Mt. LeConte Lodge area. Location of Recreation building is on Mt. LeConte. This site is a remote location and limited access by way of trails.
