P--MCMILLAN DAM DEMOLITION AND SALVAGE

The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region, Albuquerque Area Office (New Mexico) has a requirement to salvage and demolition of the McMillan Dam Complex, located 13 miles Northwest of Carlsbad, New Mexico. Evaluation criteria for award consideration will include technical, past performance, and price. Evaluation factors, other than price, when combined, are SIGNIFICANTLY MORE IMPORTANT than cost or price in the award decision. Technical Factors together are weighed substantially higher than cost factors. Technical Factors: technical approach, safety plan and safety certifications, schedule, and quality control plan, and key personnel, Past Performance: description of past performance on related projects for the last 3 years, and then Price. Request for Proposal No. 140R4018R0032 using procedures prescribed by FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation, will be issued after transmission of this synopsis. It is anticipated the contract will be a firm-fixed price service contract. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 238910 with a small business size standard of $15.0M. Anticipated period of performance is for 90 days. Period of performance will start from date of the notice to proceed.
