Legal Basis of Authority Pursuant to Fish and Game Code Sections 1010 and 1745.1(a), the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), serving as an agent of the State of California (STATE), offers this Request for Proposal (RFP) to issue a Permit for Excess Vegetation Disposal (Grazing). The proposed vegetation disposal (grazing) activity will be conducted with non-exclusive rights on approximately 9,402 acres of real property known as the Bitterwater, Narrows, Red House, Section 35, Cooper, and Hayes Units, collectively referred to as the Premises, within the North Carrizo Ecological Reserve (NCER) in the County of San Luis Obispo.
