RFQ-LED-0627-01, Lobster Tags

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is soliciting bids under RFQ-LRB-0627-01 for the manufacture and delivery of molded elastomer lobster trap tags. The contract requires the production of a first batch of 46,800 tags and a second batch of up to 1,200 tags, all of which must be manufactured within the United States. The tags must be purple (PMS 256U) with a 1/2 inch diameter grommet and permanently imprinted with black indelible ink via hot foil stamping or laser etching. Packaging is strictly regulated, requiring tags to be strung in consecutive order, packed in individual boxes per permit holder not exceeding 25 pounds, and shipped on pallets no taller than 52 inches. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder on an all-or-none, group, or line-item basis. Bidders must provide a California seller's permit and complete several mandatory forms, including the Payee Data Record and Bidder Declaration.
