Painting Services

The City of Grande Prairie is seeking qualified suppliers to establish a Standing Offer Agreement for painting services to be provided on an as-needed basis. The scope of work encompasses comprehensive interior and exterior painting of various city facilities, including walls, ceilings, structural steel, piping, and masonry. Services include full surface preparation such as cleaning, rust removal, and crack repair, as well as specialized tasks like color matching and graffiti restoration. All work must adhere to manufacturer specifications, building codes, and occupational health and safety requirements. The contract is scheduled to commence on November 1, 2026, with pricing for the first year remaining firm and subsequent years capped by the Alberta All-Items Consumer Price Index. The award will be granted to the lowest-priced compliant applicant. Submissions must be made electronically via the BidsandTenders portal by September 18, 2026. Applicants are required to provide a company profile, a five-year litigation history, and a valid Certificate of Recognition (COR) or an equivalent safety program. To be eligible for award, the successful supplier must provide current insurance certificates and a valid WCB Clearance Letter. Payment terms are set at 30 days from the receipt of electronic invoices, which must include detailed labor hours, material mark-ups, and GST identification.
