Supply and Installation of Fitness Equipment (Eastlink Centre)

The City of Grande Prairie has issued Request for Standing Offer Agreement RFSO-2026-96 for the supply and installation of heavy commercial-grade fitness equipment at the Eastlink Centre. This procurement is structured as a standing offer agreement where goods and services will be ordered on an as-and-when-required basis. The scope of work spans a three-year period, involving the delivery of various items including treadmills, selectorize machines, stair climbers, and various weight plates. Successful suppliers will be responsible not only for the initial supply and installation but also for providing warranty service throughout the entire life cycle of the equipment. The City intends to award the contract to multiple suppliers to ensure comprehensive coverage of the required deliverables. The evaluation process follows a four-stage approach consisting of mandatory requirements, technical evaluation, presentations, and ranking. To proceed to the financial evaluation, applicants must achieve a minimum overall score of 70% on the rated criteria, which includes product specifications, life expectancy, inventory management, delivery timelines, and pricing. The final award will be based on a combined score of technical and pricing factors, with the lowest price serving as the tie-breaker. Mandatory submission requirements include proof of authorized dealer status, manufacturer specification sheets, warranty information, and detailed resumes of key personnel. All-inclusive pricing must be submitted in a separate volume from the technical proposal to avoid disqualification. Electronic bids must be submitted through the BidsandTenders portal no later than October 1, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. Mountain Time.
