DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract. The project work consists of maintenance dredging Palm Beach Harbor within the Entrance Channel, Settling Basin, Extended Settling Basin, and the Expanded Settling Basin. All material must be placed in the Nearshore Placement Area, which is located immediately south of the inlet. Incidental work includes, but is not limited to environmental and water quality monitoring. A pre-bid site visit will be held on Thursday, 30 July 2026 at 10:00 AM EDT. Refer to Site Visit in Section 00 73 00 of the Specifications for additional details regarding location and registration instructions. A pre-bid conference will also be held virtually on Friday, 31 July 2026 at 10:00 AM EDT. The anticipated period of performance associated with this requirement is: (a) commence work under this contract within 60 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than 100 calendar days. The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises. NOTE: Notice to Proceed (NTP) will be issued between 60 and 90 calendar days after award or after all required bonds are in place, whichever is later. THIS WILL BE AN UNRESTRICTED SOLICITATION. U.S. COAST GUARD CERTIFIED DREDGE EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE WORK. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 21 July 2026 and bids will be due on or about 20 August 2026. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the Sam.gov website at https://sam.gov/. In order to receive notification of any amendments to this solicitation, interested vendors must REGISTER AS AN INTERESTED VENDOR on the Sam.gov website at https://sam.gov/. If you are not registered, the Government is not responsible with providing you with notification of any amendments to this solicitation. You must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible to receive an award from this solicitation.
