Performs harvesting and extraction of palmetto fronds for prime contractors on Florida Forest Service projects in the Lake George State Forest. Harvests Saw Palmetto (Serenoa repens), Dwarf Palmetto (Sabal minor), and Scrub Palmetto (Sabal etonia) across 7,096 acres using hand tools or mechanical harvesting equipment. Hauls extracted fronds from forest tracts. Delivers the extracted palmetto fronds removed from the designated acreage.
