Panoramic Indicator

This a notice of intent that AFSC/PZABB anticipates issuing a requirements-type contract for the repair of the ALR-20 Panoramic Indicator ( NSN 5895-01-508-3157EW) ALR-20, B-52 Aircraft weight: 60 lbs, Length: 27.40 in, Width: 13.00 , Height: 15.50in. The predominant material Aluminum Alloy case, Glass CRT, Multi metal composit circuits and composit multi L CCAs. wiring cables and connectors. The proposed contract will be a five(5) year contract and shall include a basic year and four(4) Options years. A description of the Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) is described below: Basic - 60ea( Minor and Major Repair)- delivery due 45 days ARO at a rate of 7ea per month. Option I - 60ea ( Minor and Major Repair)- delivery due 45 days ARO at a rate of 7ea per month. Option II- 60ea ( Minor and Major Repair)- delivery due 45 days ARO at a rate of 7ea per month. Option III-60ea ( Minor and Major Repair)-delivery due 45 days ARO at a rate of 7ea per month. Option IV- 60ea ( Minor and Major Repair)-delivery due 45 days ARO at a rate of 7ea per month. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Exelis Inc. Cage: 24930, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Government does not own the data or the rights to the data needed to contract repair of parts from additional sources. The Government is currently in contact with Exelis Inc. with request to purchase this data but no contractual price has been provided. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
