Park And Landscape Maintenance Services (Citywide)

The City of La Palma is seeking proposals for citywide park and landscape maintenance services. The project involves comprehensive grounds and maintenance for approximately 36 acres of parks and landscape space, including 1.8 miles of block wall vines. Key services include mowing and edging turf areas, litter control, weed control, raking of planters, sweeping and blowing of hardscape areas, tree trimming (including Queen Palm pruning and seed pod removal), irrigation system maintenance, and plant additions/replacements. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation. Environmental compliance, including NPDES Best Management Practices and stormwater management, is required. The contractor will be responsible for minor irrigation repairs and must adhere to specific schedules for maintenance tasks, including seasonal adjustments for mowing and tree trimming. Personnel screening, uniform requirements, and traffic control compliance are also mandated.
