Parking Improvements at Windmill Park

Banks County Government is soliciting bids for parking improvements at Windmill Park in Homer, Georgia, with all proposals due by 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2026, at the Board of Commissioners Office located at 150 Hudson Ridge. The project includes a comprehensive range of site improvements such as approximately 320 tons of 9.5 mm asphalt and 480 tons of 12.5 mm asphalt, 4,300 square yards of 6-inch graded aggregate base course, 890 linear feet of 6-inch by 24-inch curb and gutter, and 880 square yards of 4-inch concrete sidewalk. Stormwater management components consist of 220 linear feet of 18-inch HDPE storm drain, 200 linear feet of 24-inch HDPE storm drain, 44 linear feet of 18-inch RCP storm drain, two 24-inch concrete headwalls, two grate top drop inlets, one manhole, and one junction box. Additional work includes 200 square yards of Type 3 rip rap, 3,300 linear feet of 5-inch white pavement striping, 240 linear feet of 5-inch yellow pavement striping, 40 linear feet of 24-inch pavement striping, pavement markings, roadway and parking lot signage, mass grading, and erosion and traffic control measures. All work must be completed within 30 consecutive calendar days after receipt of a written Notice to Proceed, and a bid bond is mandatory with each proposal.
