This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by Parkland County (the “County”) to prospective respondents to submit quotations for Sundance Road Rehabilitation Waters Edge subdivision to Sundance Power Plant, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Deliverables”). The County is seeking a construction contractor to complete the rehabilitation of Sundance Road from Waters Edge Subdivision to the TransAlta plant entrance. The scope of work includes but is not limited to clearing, asphalt surface removal, subgrade preparation, ditch improvements, Granular Base Course (GBC), Asphalt Concrete Pavement (ACP), pavement markings and other works as further described in Appendix A. Parkland County is a rural municipality located immediately west of Edmonton. Covering an area of 256,802 hectares (634,571 acres), it is one of the largest in size and one of the highest populated of all rural municipalities in Alberta. Parkland County has grown to a community of over 30,000 people and has seen generations of families continue to enjoy country living.
