Parks, Recreation and Open Space (PROS) Plan Update

The City is seeking a consultant team with demonstrated experience in long-range parks, recreation, and open space planning, including parks and trails, open space, recreation facilities and programs, arts and culture, policy development, capital facilities planning, community engagement, and analysis of community needs and priorities. The City anticipates that this expertise may be provided through a combination of the prime consultant and qualified subconsultants. The 2028 PROS Plan Update is intended to be a focused periodic update that builds upon the substantial planning, community engagement, and system analysis completed through the 2022 PROS Plan process. Because the City completed a comprehensive PROS planning process in 2022, the 2028 update is not intended to repeat that work. Instead, the update will focus on changes since adoption of the 2022 Plan, evaluate progress toward existing goals and priorities, identify current and emerging community needs, and ensure that the PROS Plan remains current and consistent with the City's planning, policy, and regulatory framework. Work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to, providing professional services related to assist in developing/updating the City's Parks, Recreation and Open Space Plan ("PROS Plan") for 2028 - 2034 as further described in this RFQ.
