Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for production parts and repairs supporting EA-18 G Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) and P-8A Poseidon Fleet Support Teams (FSTs) and Organic Depots for all phases and programs. The Government intends to procure parts and seek repairs of the following CAES Systems San Diego Select Components: Filter Switch Amplifier Low, Amplifier Attenuator Integrated, and Integrated Microwave Assembly (IMA) Midband Preselector.



The estimated maximum contract value is $27.3M, and minimum contract value is $5K.  The anticipated timeframe for the release of the solicitation is estimated to be in the first quarter of Fiscal Year (FY) 2027 with an award of the procurement in the fourth quarter of FY 2027.



NSWC Crane, located at Naval Weapons Station, 300 Highway 361, Crane, IN, 47522, intends to award a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity, Firm-Fixed-Price contract. A related Request for information, N0016426SNC02, was previously posted on SAM.gov.



Contractors must be properly registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 866-606-8220 or via the internet at https://sam.gov.



All responsible sources may submit a quotation, bid, or proposal, as appropriate, which will be considered by the agency.

The proposed contract action is for the supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, CAES Systems LLC 9404 Chesapeake Drive, San Diego, CA 92113-1303, under the authority of RFO FAR 6.103-1(a)(b) This is being solicited on a sole source basis because only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.



All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.



All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Contract Opportunities on https://sam.gov/.  It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor https://sam.gov/ for any amendments, which may be issued to this solicitation.  For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a quote will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
