ParvoMedics Metabolic System and associated laptop

The NASA Shared Services Center, on behalf of the NASA Johnson Space Center, is seeking to procure a ParvoMedics TrueOne® 2400 Metabolic Measurement System and associated equipment through a sole source contract under FAR Part 12, as the government intends to acquire commercial items and services. The system includes a compact analyzer module with paramagnetic oxygen and infrared carbon dioxide analyzers, OUSW-4.4 Windows O2 Uptake Software, a heated pneumotach capable of 0–800 L/min, a 3-liter calibration syringe, a 4-liter high-efficiency mixing chamber, calibration gas regulators and cylinders with precise O2 at 16%, CO2 at 4%, and nitrogen balance, along with necessary accessories such as breathing circuits, nose clips, mouthpieces, filters, drying lines, mounting hardware, a power strip, swing arm, weather station, and Polar Heart Rate Interface. The purchase also includes two Dell laptop computers preloaded with the latest OUSW software, with shipping included, and an add-on dilution option featuring canopy and drape, dilution pump, pump control, gas regulator, an ED-Cylinder gas tank with 1% CO2 and 16% O2, and a single-tank hand cart. An optional two-year extended warranty for the TrueOne analyzer and pneumotach is available. The system is covered by a three-year warranty for the analyzer, pneumotach, Dell computers, and monitor, while any printer included would carry a one-year warranty. The equipment is not to include a computer, monitor, mobile cart, or printer as standalone line items.
