Separate sealed bids for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and appurtenances necessary for performing pavement patching services for the Columbus Water Works will be received by the Owner at the offices of Columbus Water Works, 1421 Veterans Parkway, Columbus, Georgia 31902, until 2:00 PM, local time, on July 30, 2026, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Sealed Bids must be clearly labeled, on the outside, "Pavement Patching Bid".
The project consists of removing temporary patches, installing a concrete base, and applying an asphalt overlay on DOT and City streets after utility repairs by Columbus Water Works, in accordance with all applicable City of Columbus Ordinances, Fort Benning Installation Requirements, and/or DOT regulations.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 2:00 PM, local time, on July 23, 2026, in the Chattahoochee Room located at 1421 Veterans Parkway. The purpose of the pre-bid conference is to raise questions regarding the Bidding and Contract Documents and to allow the OWNER or its representatives to clarify any points. Bids will not be accepted from any prospective Bidder who does not attend the Pre-Bid Conference.
