Pavement Preservation on 115

Caltrans District 11 is managing a pavement preservation project on Route 115 in Imperial County, specifically near Calipatria from 0.1 mile south of Shank Road to 0.1 mile south of Albright Road. The scope of work focuses on maintaining the existing public highway without expanding its use and includes the application of slurry seal, striping, and shoulder backing from 0 to 3 feet from the edge of the pavement. Additionally, the project requires a 0.20 foot cold plane and overlay of 0.20 foot hot mix asphalt at the Shank Road and Rutherford intersections, the installation of rumble strips, and the replacement of roadway sign panels and posts within 30 feet of the pavement edge.
