Paver Rental

Hillsborough County is soliciting competitive quotes for the rental of one Leeboy Model 8606 asphalt paver or an equivalent unit for a two-month period, with an estimated contract value of $34,640.00. The solicitation, identified as ITQ-26-00300 and titled Paver Rental, was posted on June 15, 2026, and responses are due by June 29, 2026, via the County’s Euna Procurement portal; submissions through any other means, including email, fax, or paper, will not be accepted. The required equipment must meet specific technical specifications including a Tier 4 Final diesel engine with at least 125 horsepower, a 9-ton or greater hopper capacity, variable paving depths up to 6 inches, a hydrostatic crawler track system with a minimum 14-inch width, and an electrically heated vibratory screed capable of paving up to 15 feet wide. The County will handle pick-up and drop-off of the equipment at the start and end of the rental period. The contractor must maintain a drug-free workplace certified under Florida Statute 287.087 and use the E-Verify system for all new hires, in accordance with Florida Statute 448.095, while adhering to IMAGE Best Practices for employment verification, including annual Form I-9 audits and procedures for reporting suspected criminal misconduct. Indemnification provisions require the contractor to defend and hold harmless the County from all claims arising from its actions or those of its agents, employees, or subcontractors, including attorney fees.
