The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service, National Forests in Mississippi, Desoto Ranger District is soliciting proposals for indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contract for road maintenance services. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, supplies, services, permits, licenses and incidentals to perform all work in compliance with terms and conditions of the solicitation. Work includes blading aggregate surfaced roads, sub soiling travelway, spot surface repair aggregate surfaced roads (pit run aggregate), spot surface repair aggregate surfaced roads (crushed aggregate), cleaning and reshaping ditches, seeding and fertilizing, pelletized lime, pensacola bahia grass, removal of culverts, dozer and or grader equipment rental, track type excavator, installing water bars, mowing, hazard tree removal, sign assembly and placement (regulatory, sign assembly and placement ( route), sign assembly and placement (for gates), earthen mounds and cogon grass control. This is a request for proposal which will result in firm-fixed price, performance based indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract with one base and one option year that may be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The performance period for the resultant contract will be from October 1, 2012 to September 30, 2013 plus one, one year option period. Only one contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. Award will be made based on the best value to the government. No pre-proposal meeting will held for this project. Service Contract Act wage rates will apply. This project is 100% set-aside for Small Business in accordance with FAR 19.502. NAICS code for this project is 115310. A pre-proposal meeting will not be held. The solicitation and related documents will be available for download at https://www.fbo.gov/ on or about July 15, 2012.
