The Air Force is seeking quote for the purchase of 8 PCH Electronic Measuring Instrument Retrofits for American-Hofmann balance machines. The proposed item shall include any freight and handling charges delivered to ESTELLA BLAIR 309 CMXG 5816 D AVE, BLDG 238 HILL AFB UT 84056-5015 American Hofmann Corporation is considere the only one responsible source for the purchase of the measuring instrument retrofits as authorized under 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). These electronic measuring instruments are the upgrade models for the government owned balancing machines. AUTHORITY: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), JUSTIFICATION: SUPPLIES REQUIRED ARE FROM ONLY ONE OR A LIMITED NUMBER OF RESPONSIBLE SOURCE(S) AND NO OTHER TYPE OF SUPPLIES WILL SATISFY AGENCY REQUIREMENTS. THE PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION IS FOR SUPPLIES AND SERVICES FOR WHICH THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO SOLICIT AND NEGOTIATE WITH ONLY ONE, OR A LIMITED NUMBER OF SOURCES UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.302-1.
